QP Handbag is a Vietnamese family business established in 2000. We make gorgeous handcrafted fashion handbags and gifts in our factory in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The designs of QP Handbag reflect the typical character of Vietnamese products – simple yet eye-catching.
Our company exports more than 70 percent of our output. The remainder retails to customers in Vietnam. Japan is our largest market, accounting for 65 percent of shipments together with France and US.
One-half of orders are under OEM basis. We have registered the brand name QP Handbag in Vietnam and Japan. Prices depend on sizes, order quantity and design complexity. We use cotton, canvas, linen, lace, PU and PVC leather, pig leather, rattan, palm leaf, and water hyacinth as our main materials. Auxiliary materials include cotton and polyester threads, seed beads, sequin, and tapes. All materials are sourced in Ho Chi Minh. We focus on combining various materials, especially eco-friendly materials.
Our designer changes patterns, colors, and materials of available designs to create about 20 new models annually. Sample cycle is 7 to 14 days.
We have a 280sqm workshop in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City. When large orders are placed, a standby workshop in Long Hau Industrial Zone in Long An District will be used. Both workshops are equipped with Japan-made sewing machines.
We employ approximately 10 full-time workers who perform both sewings by machine and hand crochet and can make 2000 pieces per month. In peak season from September to April, our company can subcontract production to 50 workers to produce up to 5000 pieces monthly. Five employees are responsible for checking the sewing quality of finished products. Inspections can be done by a Japanese QC company in Ho Chi Minh as requested.
